Your Mission as a Cloud Engineer:

As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of our cloud-first initiatives, collaborating closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your focus will be on ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and airtight security for our mission-critical systems.

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS, leveraging services like EC2, FSx, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, and Lambda.
• Administer and optimize Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, RHEL, Amazon Linux) across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Craft and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python, etc.) to streamline provisioning, monitoring, and deployment processes.
• Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Proactively monitor systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar tools, swiftly responding to incidents and ensuring maximum system uptime.
• Partner with DevSecOps and security teams to implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and patch management.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Cloud Engineer with a strong foundation in AWS and Linux system administration. If you possess these qualifications, we encourage you to apply:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, including core services (EC2, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Solid Linux system administration skills: package management, networking, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent IaC tools.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source control systems (Git).
• A thorough understanding of cloud networking concepts: VPCs, subnets, security groups, and route tables.
• Experience in implementing cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.

Bonus Points:

These qualifications are a plus, but not required:

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect Associate or higher).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, HIPAA, or SOC 2.
