About the Opportunity: Content Editor (Remote)
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Content Editor to join the dedicated product experience team supporting our key enterprise tech client. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for refining and enhancing customer-facing self-help content, ensuring it is accurate, easy to understand, and effectively guides users.
This is a fully remote position, open to candidates who can be available for collaboration and meetings during PST working hours.
Key Responsibilities: Shaping Customer Success Through Content
As a Content Editor, your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest quality and impact of our customer self-help content. This includes:
- Reviewing, editing, and fine-tuning self-help documentation authored by Service Principals and Subject Matter Experts across the full product suite.
- Ensuring content adheres to established brand voice, style guides, and technical accuracy standards.
- Working closely with a passionate community of authors to elevate the quality and consistency of their contributions.
- Empowering authors by building support abilities, such as providing troubleshooting guidance for products and optimizing solution product tools.
- Contributing to the definition and execution of the roadmap for internal and external services and experiences designed to provide customers with the most accurate and effective solutions.
- Taking responsibility for the design and execution of content programs across 250+ services to increase feature adoption and improve overall solution quality.
- Applying deep knowledge of the brand they represent and technical style guidelines to ensure effective communication with customers.
- Owning the definition, tracking, and reporting of key supportability KPIs to measure content effectiveness and program success.
- Writing and maintaining essential technical materials, including appendices, operating instructions, and maintenance guides.
- Organizing, editing, and maintaining technical records and files.
Work Environment & Collaboration
This role offers a dynamic balance between focused individual work and collaborative team engagement:
- Approximately 75% of your time will be dedicated to independent content review, editing, and related tasks.
- Around 10% will be spent in scheduled “office hours” meetings.
- Roughly 20% will involve active collaboration with fellow editors, authors, and cross-functional teammates.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
We are seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in content creation, technical understanding, and collaborative tools:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science) or a communications-focused discipline (English, Journalism, Communications) is required.
- 5-7 years of progressive overall experience in related fields, such as content editing, technical writing, or documentation management.
- Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in technical support processes, documentation principles, product support, or overall supportability concepts.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience utilizing Azure DevOps for content workflows and project tracking (basic proficiency is sufficient).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience using Microsoft Teams and GitHub for team collaboration and content versioning.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in both technical writing and copywriting.

Compensation
The anticipated hourly compensation range for this position is $40 – $42 per hour. The final compensation offer will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation during the interview process, considering the candidate’s depth and breadth of experience, market conditions, and internal pay equity.
