From Day One is seeking a dynamic Content Marketing & Social Media Specialist to own our social media presence and amplify our brand’s voice. In this role, you’ll be the creative force behind engaging content that promotes our events, elevates our editorial voice, and showcases our valued sponsors and partners.

If you’re a data-driven marketer with a passion for crafting compelling narratives and building thriving online communities, we want to hear from you! This is a part-time opportunity (approximately 25 hours per week) to make a significant impact at a growing media company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive content and social media strategy that aligns with our business goals and promotes our unique content.
• Repurpose existing event content (articles, videos, photos) into captivating digital assets, including short-form video editing and compelling captions.
• Manage and maintain a dynamic content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality content across all social media platforms, maintaining a unified brand voice.
• Analyze content performance and social media metrics to optimize our strategy and maximize engagement.
• Cultivate and manage our online communities, staying ahead of social media trends to ensure our content resonates with our audience.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Exceptional command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Access to a reliable laptop and high-speed internet.
• A strong academic background with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Proven expertise in content strategy, content marketing, and social media management.
• A creative mind for developing engaging content ideas and campaigns.
• Experience using various social media platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn) to build brand awareness.
• Familiarity with design and editing tools.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
