What You’ll Do: Bring Romance and Drama to Life

As a Script Adapter, you’ll be the architect of immersive vertical video experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Adaptation Mastery: Skillfully translate intricate web novel plots into concise, high-quality screenplays optimized for vertical streaming formats.
• Story Architect: Analyze and enhance story structure, pacing, and character arcs to maximize emotional impact and audience engagement.
• Scene Creation & Collaboration: Craft original scenes that elevate the narrative and collaborate on revisions to perfect the final product.
• Data-Driven Storytelling: Utilize audience engagement data to refine story elements and optimize for maximum impact.
• Peer Mentorship: Provide constructive feedback to fellow writers and participate in collaborative script workshops.

Are You the Ideal Candidate?

We’re looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in screenwriting or adaptation.
• Exceptional storytelling abilities, particularly within the romance and drama genres.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, but not required.
• Comfort and sensitivity in addressing young adult romance/drama themes, including potentially sensitive content.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Payment & Perks:

This is a project-based contract with payment issued upon final acceptance of deliverables that meet all agreed project requirements and quality standards.

• Commitment: Project-based Contract
• Compensation: Paid per completed and approved script package. Estimated range: $300–$500 per package (length/complexity-dependent). Opportunities for higher pay based on story performance and audience engagement.
