We’re seeking a customer-focused and organized individual to step into the role of a Remote Cruise Agent. In this dynamic position, you won’t just book trips; you’ll be the architect of incredible cruise vacations. Leveraging your knowledge of the cruise industry and major cruise lines, you’ll guide clients through selecting, customizing, and managing their perfect getaway, all while working comfortably from your own space. This role demands excellent communication, a passion for service, and sharp organizational skills.

Your Mission: Guiding Clients to Shore

As a Cruise Travel Agent with Destination Knot, your key responsibilities will include:

• Serving as the primary point of contact for cruise inquiries and reservations via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Providing expert, personalized recommendations on destinations, itineraries, ship amenities, and travel essentials.
• Efficiently processing cruise bookings and secure payments with meticulous attention to detail.
• Building lasting relationships with clients through proactive communication and follow-up, ensuring an outstanding experience.
• Staying informed on the latest cruise deals, promotions, industry trends, and travel regulations.
• Collaborating with our cruise partners to secure competitive rates and added value for our clients.
• Skillfully resolving client concerns and managing any booking-related challenges with professionalism and empathy.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance client trips by suggesting valuable additions like excursions, travel insurance, and pre/post-cruise arrangements (upselling/cross-selling).

Who We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for travel, especially cruising!
• A customer-first attitude with a desire to create “wow” moments.
• Strong knowledge of popular cruise destinations and different cruise lines. (Previous travel sales or cruise reservations experience is a plus, but we value enthusiasm and quick learning!)
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and client requests efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, sales-oriented approach combined with a helpful spirit.
• Comfort and proficiency with online booking systems, CRM tools, and standard office software.
• Self-motivation and the discipline to thrive independently in a remote work environment.
• Travel or cruise industry certification (like CLIA) is a fantastic bonus!
