Your Role as a Cruise Reservation Specialist

As a Cruise Reservation Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, guiding them through the exciting process of planning their cruise vacations. You will use your knowledge of the cruise industry to recommend the perfect itineraries, ships, and onboard activities to match their individual preferences and budgets. This role requires excellent communication, sales skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries regarding cruise vacations via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Provide expert advice on cruise destinations, itineraries, ship amenities, and travel requirements.
• Process bookings and payments accurately and in accordance with company policies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing personalized service and proactive follow-up.
• Stay informed about current cruise line promotions, policy updates, and travel regulations.
• Collaborate with our cruise partners to secure exclusive deals and benefits for our clients.
• Effectively address client concerns and resolve booking-related issues in a professional manner.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell complementary travel services, such as shore excursions, travel insurance, and pre/post-cruise accommodations.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in travel sales, reservations, or customer service is preferred, but not essential. We’re willing to train the right candidate!
• A solid understanding of cruise lines, destinations, and travel industry trends.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to effectively manage multiple bookings and prioritize tasks.
• A sales-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for helping clients plan memorable vacations.
• Proficiency in using online booking systems, CRM software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• A self-motivated and disciplined approach to working independently in a remote setting.
• A certification in travel or the cruise industry (e.g., CLIA certification) is a plus.
