Make a Difference: Member Support Specialist

Are you passionate about helping others and making a real impact on people’s lives? We’re looking for a dedicated Member Support Specialist to join our team in Texas! In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our members, providing assistance and guidance related to our services and helping them achieve positive health outcomes.

Your Mission:

As a Member Support Specialist, you will:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering member inquiries and resolving concerns accurately and efficiently.
  • Document all interactions meticulously, following established protocols and scripts.
  • Help members navigate their transportation options and understand their insurance coverage.
  • Contribute to our mission of improving member health by providing knowledgeable support.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work and demonstrate a commitment to excellence.
  • Input accurate trip data into our systems.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

  • Receive and document member inquiries, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Adhere to company procedures and policies in all interactions.
  • Utilize multiple systems to efficiently extract necessary information and address member needs.
  • Educate members on our services and their insurance benefits.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department for further investigation.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 0-2 years of related experience; 6+ months of contact center or customer service experience a plus
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Typing speed of 35 words per minute or higher
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must reside in Texas
  • Reliable high-speed internet (25MBPS download/5MBPS upload) with ability to hardwire to your modem
  • Dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions
  • Ability to attend 100% of training, with on-camera participation for the first 30 days
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls (100+ calls per day) while providing excellent service
  • Ability to multitask, talk, and type simultaneously with clarity and conciseness
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
