What You’ll Do: Drive Innovation in Our DevOps Practices

As a DevOps Engineer at Fliff, you will:

• Automate and Optimize: Refine and maintain our CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments to AWS ECS clusters, and spearhead the automation of infrastructure provisioning and scaling using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Kubernetes Champion: Design, administer, and manage our Kubernetes clusters to guarantee high availability and scalability, ensuring a smooth transition from our existing infrastructure to Kubernetes-based solutions.
• Observability Expert: Enhance and unify our observability stack to provide deep insights into system performance, utilizing tools like DataDog or Loki, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Collaborate and Support: Foster a culture of collaboration within our global team, sharing your expertise and training engineers on DevOps best practices, tooling, and automation.

What We’re Looking For: Your Skills and Expertise

We’re seeking a candidate with:

• Proven Experience: 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer with significant hands-on experience in automation and cloud infrastructure.
• Kubernetes Mastery: 2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• CI/CD Prowess: A strong understanding of continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Observability Skills: Proficiency with DataDog or Loki, Grafana, Prometheus for comprehensive system monitoring and logging.
• Coding and Scripting: Familiarity with Git and proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to guide developers, tackle infrastructure challenges, and improve system reliability.
• A Proactive Mindset: Self-motivated, adaptable, and thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Bonus points if you have experience with Ansible, PostgreSQL, and Kafka, or prior experience in iGaming or high-traffic web applications.
