What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop an international team of DevOps Engineers, aligning team goals with overarching product and business strategies.
- Foster a high-performing culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Take technical ownership of our critical cloud operations (preferably within Microsoft Azure), ensuring exceptional system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Drive the evolution of our Kubernetes-based cloud architecture and champion best practices for CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.
- Automate and optimize deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Opentofu, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Ensure operational excellence by refining incident, problem, and change management processes, and optimizing development, testing, and production environments.
What You Bring
- A strong technical foundation, ideally from completed technical studies or equivalent IT training.
- A proactive mindset, collaborative team spirit, and proven ability to thrive in cross-functional, international settings.
- Proven experience leading technical teams (Development, DevOps, or Operations) with excellent priority management skills.
*Alternatively*, you have 5+ years of extensive hands-on DevOps Engineering experience and are ready to step into your first leadership role. - Extensive hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools like Terraform and Opentofu.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms, particularly GitLab.
- Comfort working with Linux operating systems such as SLES, RedHat, CoreOS, or Ubuntu.
- Hands-on experience with major Cloud Platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Scripting and programming skills (e.g., Bash, Golang, Python. Java experience with Spring Boot/Liberty is a plus).
- Experience setting up and managing observability and monitoring solutions (e.g., Elastic Stack – Elastic Search, fluentD, Kibana – Grafana, Prometheus).
- Practical knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Familiarity with database systems like MongoDB and Redis.
- Solid understanding of Application Management, DevOps Operations, Networking, and Cloud Infrastructure Administration.
- Experience with Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Sharp analytical thinking, structured problem-solving abilities, and a high sense of responsibility.
- A genuine passion for continuous learning, sharing knowledge, and applying new practices.
