Your Impact:
As our Social Media Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing our brand presence and driving engagement across various digital platforms. You’ll be responsible for creating and publishing engaging content, fostering relationships with our online followers, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve our organizational goals. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to make a real difference.
Responsibilities:
- Craft & Publish Engaging Content: Develop captivating text posts, images, and videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook, aligning with our brand and mission. Spearhead online fundraising promotions and challenges.
- Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and cultivate positive online interactions.
- Relationship Building: Foster meaningful discussions, celebrate creative users, and communicate with community partners, program members, and donors to boost engagement.
- Collaborate with Teams: Partner with marketing and program departments to ensure digital content aligns with overall organizational goals. Communicate issues and concerns to management.
- Performance Tracking: Utilize web and social media analytics to monitor content performance, engagement, reach, and follower growth.
- Reporting: Regularly prepare and present reports on outreach efforts and social media performance.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in social media management and digital content creation across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and Meta Business Suite.
- Proficiency in Canva and short-form video editing, with the ability to produce engaging, on-brand content for outreach and fundraising campaigns.
- Excellent communication and community engagement skills, capable of interacting professionally with diverse audiences, including donors, partners, and program members.
- Analytical skills with experience using social media insights and web analytics to track performance, measure engagement, and compile reports.
- A collaborative and organized mindset, able to work effectively with internal teams, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to organizational goals within a part-time schedule.

- Previous experience with nonprofits and fundraising.

- Flexible Schedule: Work 20 hours per week between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm CST, Monday through Saturday.
- Team Meetings: Attend a 1-2 hour weekly meeting to review the engagement plan and analytics. Staff meetings will be scheduled between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm CST, Monday through Thursday.
