People Operations Lead – GCC

Why This Role Matters

As Calo prepares for an IPO, we need to strengthen our systems and build a solid foundation for continued growth. We want to continue delivering a world-class employee experience. We’re seeking a passionate and innovative People Operations Lead to elevate our People Operations function and empower our team to drive positive change within the company.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • People Ops Leadership: Enhance People Ops processes, upskill the team, and foster an empathy-first approach.
  • Center of Excellence: Build a center of excellence to support business units, manage benefits, and ensure compliance.
  • Local Country Strategy & Governance: Collaborate with local teams to develop and implement tailored people strategies.

Are You the Right Fit?

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong experience in HR systems, auditing, and compliance.
  • Experience leading regional teams in the GCC and knowledge of local labor laws.
  • Proven success in partnering with departments like Legal and Finance.
  • Experience owning an HRM from end-to-end.
  • A passion for creating a positive and supportive work environment.
  • A desire to challenge conventional HR norms and advocate for people.
  • An interest in leveraging AI to transform People Ops.
