Are you a strategic leader passionate about optimizing the revenue engine? We’re searching for a results-oriented and analytical Director of Revenue Operations to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will shape our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy by driving efficiency, predictability, and sustainable growth across our sales, marketing, and customer success functions.
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will lead critical initiatives focused on enhancing sales efficiency, improving forecasting accuracy, and building robust reporting capabilities. Driving Our Revenue Engine: Your Key Responsibilities
You will be instrumental in building and scaling our revenue operations framework by:
Designing, implementing, and managing core revenue operations processes, including sophisticated sales forecasting methodologies, dynamic pipeline management frameworks, and insightful sales reporting dashboards.
Evaluating, implementing, and optimizing our GTM technology stack (CRM, automation, etc.), with a strong focus on platforms like Salesforce, to maximize sales efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Leveraging comprehensive data analysis across sales, marketing, and customer data to uncover actionable insights, identify trends, pinpoint growth opportunities, and inform strategic decision-making.
Fostering strong cross-functional partnerships and ensuring strategic alignment with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance teams to achieve shared revenue goals.
Defining, monitoring, and regularly reporting on key revenue metrics and KPIs, providing clear, data-driven performance updates to senior leadership.
Championing process improvement and automation initiatives to streamline revenue operations workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase overall team productivity.
Your Expertise & Qualifications
We’re looking for a candidate who brings a powerful combination of experience, analytical prowess, and leadership skills:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related quantitative field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
5+ years of progressive experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a highly analytical GTM role. Direct experience within the EdTech market is a significant advantage.
Proven ability to perform deep data analysis, extract meaningful insights, and translate complex data into strategic recommendations. Proficiency in business intelligence and reporting tools is essential.
Hands-on experience with CRM administration and optimization (Salesforce preferred) and familiarity with the broader GTM technology stack.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships and collaborating effectively across diverse departments.
Demonstrated success in managing projects and driving complex cross-functional initiatives from conception to successful completion.
Solid understanding of sales forecasting, pipeline management, sales compensation structures, and revenue reporting methodologies.
Location & Reporting
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), this is a fully remote position open to candidates residing anywhere within the United States or Canada.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $159,000 – $189,000 USD or $148,000 – $176,000 CAD, dependent on location, plus equity.
Please note that the final compensation package may vary based on geographic location, level of experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
