We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales โ Paper Services, NA to spearhead our service sales efforts across North America. This is a remote-based opportunity, ideally located near Muncy, PA, requiring travel throughout North America with occasional international trips.
The Opportunity:
As the Director of Sales โ Paper Services, NA, you will be the strategic architect and driving force behind our Paper Service (PSP) team. You’ll lead a talented team of Service Account Managers (SAMs) who are dedicated to serving our Paper Mill customers across North America. Your mission: to align people, process, and profitability, fostering sustainable growth and strengthening customer partnerships.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement innovative business strategies that align with regional and global PSP objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the SAM Network effectively represents the full range of our Paper Service product offerings, including Stock Preparation, Mechanical Pulping/Panelboard, Paper Machine Services, and Automation & Digitalization Products.
- Customer Engagement & Business Development: Cultivate and expand relationships with Corporate Key Account (CKAM) customers, represent Andritz at key industry events, and drive business growth through strategic mill visits.
- Team Leadership & Talent Development: Build and lead a high-performing sales team, foster a collaborative culture, and provide coaching and development opportunities for direct reports.
- Financial Responsibility: Oversee incoming order budgets, forecasting, and cost control to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or Business (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial services, specifically within the pulp & paper industry.
- Proven success in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using data-driven insights and collaboration.
- Strong financial acumen and a customer-centric mindset.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience leading innovation and driving operational transformation.
