Your Role: Empowering Future Mathematicians
Are you passionate about mathematics and inspiring young students? Think Academy US is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Remote Advanced Competition Math Teacher to guide our talented 3rd to 5th-grade students. In this vital remote position, you will be the driving force behind their learning journey, helping them tackle challenging math concepts and build advanced problem-solving skills.
What You Will Do
Deliver engaging and high-level virtual teaching for elementary competition math courses on the Think Academy platform.
Effectively manage and interact with an online classroom of up to 18 students, ensuring active participation and a positive learning environment.
Prepare lessons and utilize Think Academy’s comprehensive curriculum and teaching resources to provide structured and effective instruction.
Assess student progress through grading homework and providing other essential teaching-related support services.
Maintain strong parent communication, offering timely, constructive, and personalized feedback on student performance.
Commit to a work schedule of typically 30-40 hours per week, primarily focusing on weekday afternoons and weekends when our students are most available.
Who We Are Looking For
We seek educators who are not only skilled but also bring energy and passion to the virtual classroom.
A Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, though candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree are also encouraged to apply. All academic backgrounds are welcome, with a preference for Education or STEM-related majors.
While prior math teaching experience is a plus, it is not strictly required. We provide comprehensive training!
Previous competition math learning or teaching experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Possess a high-energy, enthusiastic, and charismatic presence that genuinely engages and excites young students.
Ability to commit to teaching for more than two semesters, starting with the 2025 Summer Semester (Semester structure: Fall: Aug–Dec; Spring: Jan–May; Summer: June–Aug).
Availability and willingness to work during weekday evenings and weekends.
Deep passion for teaching, the education industry, a strong sense of responsibility, and a genuine enjoyment of working with children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Pay Structure Details:
Teaching Hours: $30-$35 per assigned teaching hour (3-7 classes assigned weekly).
Administrative Hours: $16-$20 per hour for tasks like lesson preparation, grading, and parent communication.
Target First-Year Compensation Estimate: $40,000 – $50,000.
