What You’ll Do: Drive Innovation in Security Systems

You will be instrumental in advancing Netflix’s state-of-the-art Genetec environment. Your focus will be on researching, developing, and implementing sophisticated integrations and enhancements that streamline operations and elevate our security program’s effectiveness across the EMEA region and globally.

Location & Logistics

This is a remote position, however, a strict requirement is that you must reside in the Netherlands. While primarily remote, expect to travel to Netflix’s various EMEA office locations approximately two times per quarter. This is a full-time role offering competitive benefits.

Your Impact Areas:

As the EMEA Security Systems Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

Security System Innovation & Enhancement: Leading the research, evaluation, and selection of cutting-edge security systems technology. You’ll also identify and champion potential upgrades to existing systems to significantly increase operational efficiencies.

Technical Documentation & Training: Creating detailed technical documentation, refining workflows, developing engaging training guides, and leading end-user training sessions to empower our teams.

Expert Consultation & Technical Services: Serving as a trusted expert, providing high-level consultation and specialized technical services on all aspects of our security systems architecture.

Global System Reliability: Ensuring optimal uptime, performance, and resilience for Netflix’s critical security systems worldwide.

Compliance Guidance: Providing expert security compliance recommendations and ensuring systems meet necessary standards.

Full Lifecycle Project Management: Taking complete ownership and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of technical security projects from initiation through successful delivery.

What You’ll Bring: Essential Qualifications

We’re looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and proven experience:

Technical Expertise:

You possess an expert understanding of core security platforms, including: Genetec Synergis, Genetec Stratocast, and Envoy.

Minimum of 3+ years of experience supporting or leading enterprise-wide security application deployments and operations.

Demonstrated experience with cloud-based camera analytics and integrating various security systems platforms.

Solid knowledge of the IT infrastructure lifecycle management process.

A relevant technical degree and/or applicable industry/software certifications are required.

Project Management & Soft Skills:

Exceptional project management skills, capable of expertly managing numerous concurrent project deliverables autonomously.

Outstanding personal communication and diplomacy skills, with a proven ability to collaborate inclusively and effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Proficiency with Google Suite.

Bonus Points: Highly Desirable Qualifications

While not strictly required, candidates with the following will stand out:

Genetec Synergis certification (SC-STC-001 and/or SC-ETC-001).

Experience working with Genetec Synergis in a cloud-based environment.

Experience with mobile credentials.

Previous experience in the studio production or broader entertainment/tech industry.
