The Opportunity: Enterprise Solutions Engineer (Presales)
As an Enterprise Solutions Engineer, you’ll be the technical champion driving our largest customer engagements. You’ll collaborate closely with Go-To-Market (GTM) and technical teams, playing a key role in scaling our technical sales strategy.
Your Core Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor and product expert for Lumos prospects and customers, leading all technical aspects of the sales cycle.
- Design compelling demos, Proofs of Concept (POCs), and end-to-end solutions for complex customer environments, always aligning with their core business objectives.
- Structure POCs with clear success metrics, taking ownership of the process to ensure successful implementation and customer outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve our go-to-market strategies, accelerate revenue growth, enhance implementation speed, and improve support for our expanding customer base.
- Spearhead initiatives that create significant impact for Lumos.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the app and access management landscape, providing internal insights on market trends, customer success stories, and common challenges.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a presales role within a B2B SaaS company.
- Experience in the identity or cybersecurity industry (a plus).
- Proven track record of successfully managing presales processes for enterprise clients with complex needs.
- Proficiency in APIs and familiarity with languages like Python.
- A customer-first, empathetic approach to problem-solving.
- Eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: The base salary range for this role is $170,000 – $225,000, reflecting our commitment to competitive compensation. Actual pay may vary based on experience and skill level.
