The Opportunity: Director, Finance Systems

Are you a visionary leader passionate about leveraging technology to drive financial excellence? We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Director, Finance Systems to lead our digital finance transformation. In this critical role, you will modernize our core financial systems and processes, with Workday ERP at the heart of the ecosystem. You will be instrumental in enhancing efficiency, strengthening compliance, and providing the data insights needed for strategic decision-making as we continue our rapid growth trajectory.

What You’ll Do: Driving Transformation & Excellence

• Lead the Digital Finance Roadmap: Architect and execute a multi-year finance transformation strategy, centering on Workday ERP and HRIS, continuously adapting it to align with evolving business needs and best practices.
• Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, IT, and other business units to ensure technology initiatives are seamlessly integrated and directly support organizational objectives (OKRs).
• Identify Opportunities: Spearhead discovery and assessment phases for new projects, pinpointing key areas for innovation and modernization within our finance function.
• Vendor & Relationship Management: Effectively manage relationships with system vendors and third-party consultants, including negotiation, implementation oversight, and performance management.
• Champion Change: Design and lead comprehensive change management programs, ensuring successful adoption through effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and training across the organization.
• Cultivate a Digital Mindset: Actively promote and embed a culture of digital innovation and data-driven thinking within the finance team and beyond.
• Enhance Controls & Compliance: Leverage system automation to strengthen financial controls, improve audit readiness, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build & Mentor a High-Performing Team: Lead and develop a team of 5-7 professionals (system analysts, project coordinators), fostering their growth and establishing structured learning paths to build internal expertise and self-sufficiency.

What You’ll Bring: Your Expertise & Background

To succeed in this role, you will possess a unique blend of technical system expertise and strategic finance leadership experience:

• Deep subject matter expertise and practical experience with the Workday ERP system.
• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership, technology consulting, or dedicated finance transformation roles.
• A proven track record of successfully leading complex finance digital transformation initiatives or significant Workday ERP implementation projects from inception to completion.
• Strong familiarity with project management frameworks, data governance principles, and best practices in process automation.
