About Us:

We are a dynamic financial and strategic advisory firm seeking a talented Financial Modeling Analyst to join our growing team. This is a part-time, remote opportunity offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to meaningful projects. You’ll be working within US Time zone hours.

Your Role: Building the Future with Numbers

As a Financial Modeling Analyst, you will be a key player in supporting our business operations and strategic initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain robust financial models that provide accurate forecasts and insightful analyses. Your work will directly inform critical business decisions and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Model Development: Craft dynamic and sophisticated financial models from the ground up to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Data Analysis & KPI Interpretation: Analyze business performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other relevant data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Revenue & Cost Forecasting: Develop revenue projections and conduct scenario analyses to guide business growth and operational decisions.
• Advanced Excel Mastery: Leverage advanced Excel functionalities, including complex formulas (OFFSET, INDEX/MATCH, nested functions), pivot tables, and macros, to optimize model performance and functionality.
• Operational & Strategic Insights: Provide data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency, enhance profitability, and inform long-term strategic direction.
• Automation & Optimization: Streamline existing financial processes, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure the scalability and accuracy of our financial models.
• Performance Tracking & Reporting: Create dashboards and trackers to monitor model outputs and key performance indicators, providing clear and concise reports on business performance.

What You Bring to the Table:

We’re looking for someone who’s not just good with numbers, but also possesses a strong understanding of business operations and a passion for problem-solving.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in financial modeling and analysis.
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, OFFSET, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic ranges, and formula optimization techniques.
• Solid understanding of business operations, finance, and strategic planning principles.
• Ability to work with large datasets and ensure accurate reconciliations.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.

Bonus Points: (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with forecasting and scenario planning methodologies.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of financial planning & analysis (FP&A) best practices.
