FP&A Manager: Drive Growth and Operational Excellence
We are seeking a dynamic and insightful FP&A Manager to play a critical role in supporting our enterprise growth strategy and fostering operational discipline. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Corporate Finance, you will be deeply involved in the day-to-day execution of our business plan, while also providing crucial support to the Executive Leadership team in investment strategy and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
As our FP&A Manager, you will be the quarterback of the expense and investment budget process, building intricate financial models, crafting leadership budgets, and seamlessly integrating financial data across cross-functional teams, particularly during M&A activities. You’ll gain significant visibility within Point Wild, collaborating closely with the Senior Leadership Team as a trusted business partner to operating leaders in R&D, Sales and Marketing, and Core Operations. You’ll empower them with insightful reporting, analysis, growth planning support, and financial rigor.
- Conduct in-depth business and financial analysis to provide key insights and sound judgment regarding operational verticals and investment strategies.
- Support the development of monthly forecasts, variance analysis, and pacing against budget, highlighting key areas for strategic investment.
- Define and develop critical KPIs to support financial and operational performance measurement, partnering with our BI and Analytics teams to automate financial intelligence and reporting.
- Establish standardized processes and build upon the strong business partner foundations already established by the finance team.
What You Bring to the Team
We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in finance and a passion for driving business growth:
- 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance, corporate development, or consulting, ideally within the technology sector.
- A deep understanding of strategy and operations, coupled with robust financial acumen.
- Demonstrated experience in detailed financial modeling, particularly within SaaS companies.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation), with the ability to articulate compelling messages to senior leadership.
- Highly organized with a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Bonus Points
- Experience with SQL for modeling and large data management.
- Familiarity with Adaptive Insights or similar planning software.
