Key Responsibilities & Areas of Ownership:
- P&L Management: Take full ownership of the Insurance vertical’s P&L, developing quarterly plans, forecasts, and managing the budget effectively.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) for consumers, agencies, and brokers; develop compelling positioning for each line of business; execute geographic rollouts; and optimize channel mix across search, affiliates, partnerships, and paid social.
- Supply & Demand Generation: Recruit, onboard, and enable licensed agencies and brokers; implement churn prevention strategies; and design effective incentive programs.
- Lead Quality & Routing: Ensure compliant consent capture and verification, develop lead scoring models, implement geo/line matching, enable real-time lead dispatch (under 30 seconds), and establish clear refund/dispute policies.
- Compliance & Privacy: Implement strict TCPA compliance, ensure efficient DNC/opt-out handling (within 10 business days), and maintain comprehensive consent logs and audit trails.
- Performance Marketing: Execute daily experiments, conduct rigorous creative testing, establish accurate attribution, and optimize channel ROI.
- Product & Data: Collaborate with engineering and design teams on scoring models, fraud prevention mechanisms, and insightful dashboards; instrument full-funnel metrics.
- Operations: Develop scalable playbooks, implement robust QA processes, manage payments, and oversee vendor relationships with dialers/call centers, verification/consent technology providers, and establish clear SLAs.
- Team Building: Recruit top talent across growth, operations, and partnerships; foster a culture of ownership, clarity, and speed.
First 90/180 Days: Expected Outcomes
90 Days:
- Launch pilot programs in 3-4 states, onboarding 150+ licensed agencies/brokers with >85% QA pass rate.
- Implement lead routing with SLA < 30 seconds, refund rate < 3%, invalid rate < 1%, and capture verifiable consent on 100% of contacts.
- Achieve initial revenue milestones; demonstrate payback โค 6 months on at least one acquisition channel.
180 Days:
- Expand operations to 10-12 states; onboard 500+ active agencies/brokers; achieve CSAT/NPS > 60.
- Scale 2-3 profitable channels; launch higher-intent products (live transfers, appointments) with established QA benchmarks.
- Secure 2 strategic partnerships (associations, aggregators, data/verification providers).
- Establish a clear operating cadence: weekly KPIs, monthly P&L, quarterly roadmap.

Essential Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of experience in two-sided marketplaces or regulated lead generation/home & financial services, with direct P&L accountability.
- Proven track record of scaling businesses from zero to multi-state with strong retention and QA standards.
- Hands-on experience with performance marketing, funnel analytics, pricing/bidding strategies, and lead quality/routing optimization.
- Familiarity with TCPA/DNC requirements and consent verification workflows (or a strong willingness to learn quickly).
- Excellent written English skills and US-friendly time zones.
Bonus Points:
- Insurance domain knowledge (Auto, Home, Life, Health/Medicare).
- Experience with consent/verification tools and call center/dialer technology; live transfer/appointment products.
- Experience in partner sales (associations, aggregators, carriers).
- Fluency in Spanish.
