As the Founding CEO, you will be instrumental in transforming a successful cross-vertical strategy into the definitive source for high-intent roofing leads across the United States. Your responsibilities will include:
- Orchestrating the Liquidity Flywheel: Attracting high-quality homeowners seeking roofing services while onboarding and retaining top-tier roofing contractors.
- Driving Sustainable Growth: Converting growth into strong unit economics (exceptional LTV/CAC), implementing best-in-class quality assurance, and establishing brand trust in a fragmented market.
- Building a High-Performing Team: Hiring and leading a small, elite team to scale the business rapidly while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
What You’ll Lead & Own
You’ll have full autonomy and responsibility for all aspects of the roofing leads marketplace, including:
- P&L Management: Comprehensive ownership of the Roofing business P&L, including quarterly planning, forecasting, and budget management.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Defining Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) for both homeowners and contractors, developing clear positioning and pricing strategies, and managing a multi-channel marketing mix (search, affiliates, partnerships, paid social).
- Supply & Demand Liquidity: Executing contractor acquisition strategies, managing onboarding processes, establishing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), minimizing churn, and implementing incentive programs.
- Lead Quality & Routing: Implementing robust lead verification, scoring, and geo-targeting processes, ensuring real-time lead dispatch (under 30 seconds), and developing clear refund/dispute policies.
- Performance Marketing: Conducting daily experimentation, creative testing, ROI tracking, and accurate attribution analysis.
- Product & Data Collaboration: Partnering with engineering and design teams to develop scoring models, implement anti-fraud measures, create insightful dashboards, and instrument end-to-end metrics tracking.
- Operational Excellence: Developing operational playbooks, ensuring quality assurance, maintaining compliance, managing payments, and overseeing vendor relationships (dialers/call centers, data providers).
- Team Leadership: Recruiting A-players across growth, operations, and partnerships, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and speed.
Your First 90 / 180 Days – Key Outcomes
90 Days:
- Launch pilot programs in 3 states, acquiring 150+ active contractors with a KYC/QA pass rate exceeding 80%.
- Establish a routing system with an SLA of under 30 seconds, a refund rate below 3%, and a fraud rate below 1%.
- Achieve the first revenue milestone and demonstrate an LTV/CAC ratio enabling payback in โค 6 months on core channels.
180 Days:
- Expand operations to 10-12 states, engaging 500+ active contractors with a Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT)/Net Promoter Score (NPS) exceeding 60.
- Scale 2-3 profitable channels and introduce dynamic pricing and higher-intent products (appointments, live-transfers).
- Secure 2 strategic partnerships with key stakeholders (manufacturers/associations/affiliates).
- Establish a clear operating cadence, including weekly KPI reviews, monthly P&L reporting, and quarterly roadmap planning.

Must-Haves
- 7-10+ years of experience in two-sided marketplaces or home services (lead-gen, gig economy, local services) with direct P&L responsibility.
- Proven track record of scaling a program from initial launch to multi-state operations while maintaining strong retention and quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience with performance marketing, funnel analytics, pricing strategies, and operational playbooks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead small, senior teams, including recruiting, goal-setting, and coaching.
- Availability within US-friendly time zones and excellent written English communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- Roofing or home improvement industry knowledge.
- Experience with lead verification/anti-fraud solutions, call-center/dialer technologies (e.g., routing, QA), and appointment-based products.
- Experience in partner sales, channel deals, and collaborations with associations/manufacturers.
