Your Role as an HR Support Specialist

As a Freelance HR Support Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our clients with their HR needs. This remote position, open to candidates based in the UK, offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise and contribute to the success of diverse organizations.

• Assist with the full recruitment lifecycle, from crafting compelling job postings to scheduling interviews.
• Streamline onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience for employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
• Respond to employee inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
• Contribute to performance management and development initiatives.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Stay abreast of HR best practices and trends through research.
• Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with the following qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HR Support Specialist, HR Assistant, or similar role.
• Solid understanding of HR principles and practices.
• Experience with recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks remotely.
• Familiarity with employment law and compliance regulations.
• Proactive and adaptable with a willingness to learn.
• Experience with employee training and development is a plus.
• Knowledge of HR analytics tools and software is advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Registration with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) – This can be arranged at point of job offer.
