Nuvem is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Implementation Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation process for our new pharmacy management clients. This is a pivotal role responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of all activities necessary to establish and operationalize new pharmacy sites. You’ll work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and valued 340B-covered entity clients like FQHCs and Ryan White grantees. Key Responsibilities
As an Implementation Project Manager, you will:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of pharmacy implementation projects, from kickoff to go-live, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and on-budget completion.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, milestones, and timelines tailored to each implementation engagement.
- Orchestrate cross-functional project teams, involving stakeholders from operations, HR, 340B, finance, data analytics, clinical, compliance, IT, and client organizations.
- Lead engaging project meetings, provide clear status updates, and foster seamless communication across internal and external teams to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Oversee all regulatory and licensing milestones for new pharmacy builds or transitions, coordinating with Boards of Pharmacy, DEA, wholesalers, TPAs, and payers.
- Proactively track and manage dependencies, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation plans to overcome barriers and maintain project momentum.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during implementation, ensuring a smooth and successful transition to operational pharmacy services.
- Ensure internal documentation, workflows, and SOPs are meticulously prepared and seamlessly transitioned to the operations team before go-live.
- Provide regular reports on implementation progress, potential risks, and key outcomes to the VP of Professional Services and executive leadership.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives in our implementation methodology, templates, and tools.
- Conduct thorough post-implementation reviews to assess success metrics and capture valuable lessons learned for future projects.
- Audit project documentation to guarantee accuracy and completeness for both internal and external audits.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in healthcare administration, project management, or a related field is preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare, pharmacy services, or a related field.
- Strongly preferred: Proven experience managing pharmacy, healthcare facility, or clinical service implementations.
- Familiarity with pharmacy licensing processes and 340B-covered entities (FQHCs, Ryan White programs) is a significant advantage.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence and compliance.
Working Conditions
This is a primarily remote position with occasional travel (up to 10%) to client sites or pharmacy locations as needed. Flexible hours may be required to meet project timelines or regulatory deadlines.
