Manager, International Contracts (Remote, UK/Europe)

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Manager, International Contracts to take the lead on complex negotiations and the end-to-end management of critical global agreements within the aerospace and defense (A&D) sector. Reporting to the Director, Sales Operations, you will be a central figure, working closely with business leaders, sales teams, and diverse cross-functional departments. This role offers high visibility, direct impact on significant programs, and requires a strategic mind focused on ensuring compliance, driving customer satisfaction, and navigating intricate legal and commercial landscapes across international territories.

What You’ll Do

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Drive International Contract Strategy & Negotiation: Lead and manage complex contract negotiations and administration for a range of international agreements. Ensure alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and customer needs.
  • Assess & Mitigate Risk: Proactively identify, evaluate, and implement strategies to mitigate contractual risks within terms and conditions during proposal and execution phases. Ensure compliance with foreign government and commercial contracting laws and regulations.
  • Manage Contract Performance: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and successfully execute contractual obligations throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Maintain Accuracy & Transparency: Keep meticulous records of customer interactions and correspondence, adhering to company policies. Develop and deliver professional communications to diverse audiences.

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background and proven capabilities, including:

  • Extensive experience as a Contracts Manager within the aerospace and defense (A&D) industry, specifically with expertise in navigating contracts involving major primes.
  • A deep understanding and successful track record in negotiating complex terms and conditions across various contract types (commercial, non-commercial, etc.).
  • Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, coupled with the ability to manage multiple complex contract assignments independently.
  • Outstanding communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation – with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Solid working knowledge of commercial contracting practices and familiarity with multiple contract formats.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortability adapting to new software platforms.
