The Opportunity: International Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated and client-centric International Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of global payroll operations, serving our diverse international client base. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellent service will directly contribute to Deel’s reputation as a trusted partner for businesses worldwide.

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

• Manage Global Payroll Processes: Execute, review, and validate payroll reports with unwavering accuracy and attention to detail.
• Champion Client Success: Act as a primary point of contact for client payroll escalations, providing timely, professional, and effective resolutions.
• Ensure Data Integrity: Maintain pristine payroll data records and documentation, ensuring compliance and reliability.
• Drive Process Improvement: Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams (like Client Success, Product, and Engineering) to identify and implement improvements in payroll workflows and enhance the client experience.
• Provide Expert Support: Deliver prompt and knowledgeable support for all payroll-related inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders.
• Leverage Technology: Effectively utilize Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel) and navigate various payroll-related software platforms.

What You’ll Bring: Qualifications & Skills

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Proven experience in payroll processing, with a strong preference for experience in international payroll environments.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of conveying complex information clearly and professionally.
• A strong client service mindset and demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems and navigate client inquiries.
• Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, for data handling and analysis.
• Comfort and aptitude for working with various payroll systems and software platforms.

Bonus points if you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Familiarity with global HR practices and compliance nuances.
