About the Role
We are looking for a visionary and experienced IT Solution Architect to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure system integration solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical implementations, ensuring our systems work together seamlessly while adhering to high standards of data governance and quality. You will be instrumental in evaluating new technologies, defining architectural patterns, and guiding our engineering teams towards optimal solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate intricate business needs to identify the most suitable software architecture, hardware, and system components.
- Assess and define the organization’s system integration requirements, developing comprehensive strategies to achieve connectivity and efficiency.
- Champion data governance and data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across integrated systems.
- Design scalable and resilient system integration architectures, leveraging agile methodologies for flexible and efficient development.
- Determine the precise hardware and software specifications required to support the defined architecture.
- Collaborate closely with IT management, designers, and programmers to ensure architectural solutions align with organizational goals and technical feasibility.
- Engage with application owners and end-users to deeply understand their system integration needs, including critical requirements around data quality, security, and access.
- Ensure strict adherence to data governance policies, including data security, data privacy, and data retention, throughout the design and implementation lifecycle.
- Provide expert architectural guidance and technical leadership to plan, build, and run application teams, fostering collaboration and supporting diverse environments.
- Develop and promote technical standards and best practices for system integration to enhance consistency, maintainability, and performance.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for system integration processes, procedures, and standards.
- Evaluate and recommend alternative technology solutions, working cross-functionally within IT to achieve enterprise-wide objectives and drive innovation.
- Stay current with emerging data integration technologies and market trends.
- Actively participate in data governance activities, ensuring integrated solutions comply with policies, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct thorough data quality assessments and establish metrics to identify and resolve data issues effectively.

What You Bring
To succeed in this role, you should possess a blend of strong technical expertise, architectural vision, and collaborative skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Seven (7) years of progressive experience in roles such as IT Solution Architect, Data Engineer, Data Architect, Programming Analyst, or Software Engineer.
Your experience must specifically include:
- Five (5) years as an SSIS and T-SQL developer.
- Proven ability to translate business concepts into technical data designs using statistical analysis and data visualization.
- Experience working effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Five (5) years of experience with Stored Procedures and Performance Tuning of database queries and systems.
- Five (5) years focusing on ETL frameworks, architectural concepts, and XML integrations/transformations.
- Experience integrating systems with IBM MQ.
- Five (5) years documenting development processes and providing knowledge transfer to support teams.
- Five (5) years experience with BizTalk messaging, ESB applications, .NET, and C#.
- Five (5) years hands-on experience with Tableau, Azure PAAS, SQL, Logic Apps, Data Factory, and Data Bricks.
- Five (5) years working with various data stores, including Operational Data Stores (ODS), data at rest, and unstructured data.
- Five (5) years experience specifically in performance tuning, scheduling, and batching processes involving IBM MQ as a data source or destination.
You must also have successfully completed at least one significant technology transformation project.
Location & Work Model
This position is 100% remote. However, candidates must reside within commuting distance of our corporate office located at 3001 Colorado Blvd., Denton, TX 76210, for occasional business needs or meetings.
Compensation
The offered annual wage for this position is $143,666.00.
