Junior Finance & Tax Specialist – Build Your Career in a Global Environment

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance & Tax Specialist to join our local finance team within the new KOSTAL Business Service Center in Hungary. In this role, you’ll gain invaluable experience in a dynamic international environment, supporting daily financial operations and contributing to global tax and transfer pricing matters. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, improving process quality, and driving operational efficiency. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a strong foundation in finance and tax within a growing global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support operational transfer pricing activities, including margin analysis and intercompany agreement management.
• Contribute to transfer pricing compliance through documentation, benchmarking, and policy updates, including CBCR.
• Monitor tax law changes and maintain the global compliance tracker.
• Assist with tax and financial audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Controlling, Finance, and Legal departments across various Business Units.
• Support internal and external reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and statutory standards.
• Work closely with colleagues across various KOSTAL entities worldwide.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, suggesting standardization and automation ideas.
• Document work processes clearly and maintain up-to-date procedure materials.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Work Experience: 0-1 years of experience in finance or accounting. Internships or student work experience are highly valued. Experience in a shared service or multinational environment is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and work with financial systems and tools.
• Languages:
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Native Hungarian.
