Your Impact as a Logistics Accountant
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our client’s financial operations. You’ll be responsible for a range of accounting tasks specifically tailored to the complexities of logistics, fleet management, and service-based businesses.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting tasks related to logistics and fleet operations with precision.
- Perform reconciliations, create journal entries, and support month-end closing activities.
- Expertly track and manage service tickets, labor costs, and parts inventory within Karmak.
- Accurately and promptly handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with service managers and operations teams to validate data and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate insightful financial reports, including job costing, margin analysis, and service profitability reports.
- Ensure strict adherence to company accounting policies and maintain audit compliance.
- Maintain organized digital documentation of financial records, invoices, and reconciliations.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills We’re Looking For
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, ideally within the logistics, fleet management, or service industries.
- Proven experience with Karmak software (Fusion or Legacy is a plus!).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of service department accounting principles (parts, labor, work orders).
- Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated, deadline-oriented, and able to thrive in a remote work environment.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with logistics or dealership operations.
- Experience supporting U.S.-based accounting teams.
- Background in audit preparation or financial compliance.
Additional Requirements
- Must be currently residing in the Philippines or Latin America.
- Must possess a stable internet connection and a remote-ready workstation.
