Become a Localization Quality Assurance Specialist (Canadian French)

Testronic is seeking a talented and dedicated Localization Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our dynamic team!

Your Mission:

As a vital member of our Localization QA team, you will be responsible for safeguarding the quality of our games for the Canadian French market. You’ll be more than just a proofreader; you’ll be a cultural ambassador, ensuring the game resonates authentically with Canadian French-speaking players.

• Identifying and correcting any translation errors, grammatical mistakes, and ambiguities in the game.
• Verifying the game’s tone, style, audio, text, and cultural appropriateness for the target audience.
• Creating clear and concise reports in Excel and Jira, documenting your findings.
• Proactively submitting suggestions for improvement, helping us to raise the bar for localization quality.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• Native-level or C2 proficiency in Canadian French, with a deep understanding of its nuances.
• C1 proficiency in English for effective internal communication and reporting.
• Impeccable knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation in Canadian French.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate your observations with precision and clarity.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and meet deadlines under pressure.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• A genuine passion for gaming and a curiosity for exploring new titles across various genres.
• Prior experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing.
• Familiarity with gaming platforms such as Sony (PS4/PS5), Microsoft (PC, Xbox One/XSX/XSS), Nintendo (Switch), and Apple (iOS).
