About the Role: Your Impact as Claims Team Lead

As a Claims Team Lead, Major Case at Reserv, you’ll be a vital force, supporting a claims manager with both leadership and technical expertise. You’ll be responsible for overseeing a team of adjusters dedicated to serving a key commercial auto, delivery, and rideshare client. Your primary goal is to drive operational effectiveness, leveraging technology and data analytics to optimize performance and efficiency. You will balance managing your team and working in a hands-on claims capacity.

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing a team of commercial auto adjuster direct reports
  • Implementing and enforcing best practices for claims handling, from intake to settlement and recovery.
  • Aligning the team with client and customer expectations throughout the claims process.
  • Serving as a point of escalation for complex claims.
  • Fostering a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented work environment.
  • Attracting, hiring, training, and retaining top talent with the support of the leadership team.
  • Preparing and presenting insightful claims reports, metrics, and analyses to clients, offering strategic insights on claim trends and loss mitigation.
  • Serving as a backup/leader when the Manager is out of office
  • Responsible for initial onboarding tasks/access and new hire cultural immersion
  • SME for first-line questions, escalations, roundtable discussions
  • Increased reserve and payment authority with the ability to assist with moderate reviews
  • Identifying topics and trends to discuss in team Huddles and Elevated Claims Experience Workshops lead/ co-lead by Team Leads, Managers, and other Reserv employees

Requirements: What You Bring to the Table

  • Active insurance adjuster’s license.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in complex insurance claims.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Experience with auto delivery and/or rideshare claims is essential.
  • Proficiency in technology and a desire to improve claims systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong ethical compass and integrity.
  • Willingness to obtain all licenses within 60 days, including completing state-required testing.
  • Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Willingness to travel for clients and claims need
