The Opportunity: Medical Student Content Writer (Remote, UK)
As a Medical Student Content Writer, you’ll play a vital role in translating complex medical information into clear, actionable guides that empower patients to understand their health, conditions, and treatment options. You’ll be responsible for crafting patient-friendly content on pre-selected topics, adhering to a defined structure and tone.
This is a contract position, offering between 8-15 hours per week, depending on business needs and your availability. This offers valuable experience to complement your studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Crafting Patient-Friendly Guides: Research and write comprehensive guides on various medical conditions and treatments, ensuring all content is tailored for patients using jargon free language.
- Ensuring Medical Accuracy: Thoroughly research all topics using reliable, evidence-based sources such as peer-reviewed journals and reputable health organisations. Maintain detailed references for each guide.
- Focus on Clarity: Develop guides based on pre-defined structure and examples, employing clear sub-headings, bullet points, and simple language to enhance readability.
- Collaborate and Refine: Work closely with our editorial team to review and edit content, ensuring accuracy, consistency with our brand voice, and patient-centricity.

- Currently Enrolled: Actively enrolled in an accredited medical school program.
