About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated MERN stack developer to contribute to projects for one of our valued clients. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of web application development, from design and implementation to deployment and maintenance. This is a fully remote position based in India. You will be working with a cutting-edge technology stack and collaborating with a talented team of designers, QA specialists, and product managers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) applications.
• Craft reusable and efficient UI components using React.js with modern approaches such as Hooks, Redux/Context API.
• Develop secure and optimized backend services leveraging Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and manage database schemas, queries, and aggregations within MongoDB.
• Integrate and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs seamlessly.
• Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, SSO).
• Deploy applications on leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure high levels of web security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate closely with designers, QA, and product teams to deliver exceptional solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code, adhering to industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in MERN stack development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Deep expertise in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of Redux/Context API, React Router, and Hooks.
• Hands-on experience with Mongoose ORM and database optimization techniques.
• Strong grasp of REST and GraphQL principles.
• Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).
• Proven experience deploying applications on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda), Firebase, or Azure.
• Familiarity with caching and messaging technologies like Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Comprehensive understanding of web security standards (XSS, CSRF, CORS).

Bonus Points (Preferred Skills)

• Experience with Next.js or micro-frontends.
• Knowledge of Prisma/TypeORM.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture.
• Exposure to unit testing and automation frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).

Compensation

The salary range for this position is Rs 10,00,000 – Rs 16,00,000 per annum (INR 10-16 LPA).
