As a member of our team, you’ll collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver innovative solutions for both internal and external customers. You’ll own the problems your team solves, ensuring the highest quality standards and working alongside a top-performing international development team.

What You’ll Do:

• Design Innovative Solutions: Define technical solutions to complex business problems, contributing to an architectural vision that scales to meet the demands of a global research platform.
• Ship High-Quality Code: Contribute to our modern tech stack which includes React on the frontend and Kotlin microservices with Postgres on the backend. We’re also open to exploring new technologies that enhance our platform.
• Deploy and Iterate Rapidly: Utilize CIrcleCI and Spinnaker for CI/CD to release frequently, gather user feedback, and continuously improve our platform.
• Expand Your Expertise: Accelerate your technical skills by collaborating with experienced colleagues and leveraging our Learning & Development budget to deepen your expertise in specific areas.
• Maintain and Troubleshoot: Proactively monitor our services, identify and resolve issues before they impact users, and implement long-term fixes.

Who You Are:

While a degree in a STEM field is a plus, we value diverse backgrounds and experiences. We’re looking for individuals who:

• Have experience working in a mature Engineering team and are eager to take their career to the next level.
• Possess strong technical expertise with at least one popular backend language, ideally Java or Kotlin. Experience with ElasticSearch and familiarity with frontend frameworks like React is a plus.
• Have a proven track record of making a demonstrable impact in previous roles.
• Are highly driven, proactive, and independently push through challenges to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Are meticulous with high standards and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

• $140k annual base salary with potential for bonus
