PR Lead Opportunity: Shape the Narrative of a Category-Defining AI Brand

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and well-connected PR Lead to spearhead Oh’s communications strategy and elevate our media presence. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned public relations professional to define the narrative of a category-defining brand at the intersection of AI, entertainment, and creator tech.

As our in-house PR Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping and amplifying the stories surrounding our platform, products, and Digital Twins. Your goal will be to ensure Oh and its creators are at the forefront of key discussions across technology, culture, and media. You’ll collaborate closely with our CMO, founders, and creator partnerships team to secure impactful coverage, cultivate long-term media relationships, and capitalize on timely opportunities.

Given our primarily U.S.-based user base, established relationships with North American journalists are crucial. You’ll also play a key role in scaling our global presence as we enter new markets.

Your Mission: Drive Awareness, Traffic, and Credibility Through Strategic PR

This is a senior-level individual contributor role where you will be responsible for designing and executing Oh’s comprehensive PR strategy. This includes building lasting brand equity and securing timely media hits to drive awareness, traffic, and credibility.

You will be the driving force behind getting our platform, creators, and technology noticed. This will involve crafting compelling narratives, pitching stories to top-tier media outlets, and responding swiftly to emerging trends and opportunities. A primary focus will be on U.S. media, while maintaining a global perspective as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and own Oh’s overarching PR strategy, encompassing brand, product, Digital Twins, and company milestones.
• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key U.S. journalists spanning tech, entertainment, lifestyle, and the creator economy.
• Proactively pitch stories to secure consistent coverage in high-profile publications (e.g., The Verge, TechCrunch, NYT, Rolling Stone, Fast Company, Wired).
• Develop compelling press releases, pitches, talking points, FAQs, and reactive statements.
• Identify newsworthy angles and cultural moments that resonate with our brand.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and creator teams to uncover compelling stories and coordinate impactful media moments.
• Serve as a media advisor to Oh’s senior leadership and creators, preparing them for interviews and public appearances.
• Manage PR reporting and track key coverage metrics, sentiment, and reach.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in public relations, with a strong emphasis on U.S. media.
• Established media contacts in consumer tech, entertainment, the creator economy, or cultural/lifestyle journalism.
• Proven ability to secure coverage in top-tier U.S. media outlets.
• Exceptional writing skills: clear, persuasive, and aligned with our brand voice.
• Strategic thinker with a keen eye for compelling stories and a track record of achieving results.
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on, writing copy, pursuing stories, and managing relationships independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where agility is essential.
