Your Mission: Ensuring Software Perfection

As a key member of our QA team, you’ll be instrumental in every stage of the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

• Test Strategy & Execution: Crafting comprehensive test plans, designing effective test cases (both manual and automated), and executing them with precision to uncover potential issues.
• Defect Management: Collaborating closely with our development team to identify, reproduce, and thoroughly document software defects within our management systems (e.g., Jira).
• Agile Participation: Actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings within our Agile/Scrum framework, contributing your insights to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries.
• Quality Advocacy: Verifying that our software adheres to both business and technical requirements, supporting the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, and proactively recommending improvements to our overall software testing processes.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

We’re seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in software quality assurance and a passion for delivering exceptional results. Ideally, you’ll possess:

• Proven Experience: 4-6 years of hands-on experience in software testing, demonstrating a deep understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Jira, Confluence, and TestRail. The ability to create automated tests using scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is highly desirable. Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
• Analytical Prowess: Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling you to quickly identify and resolve complex software issues.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in English (C1/C2 level), allowing you to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Teamwork and Independence: A proven ability to thrive in a team environment while also demonstrating the initiative and organizational skills to work independently.
• Educational Background: A university degree in IT or a related field.
• Agile Expertise: Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• CI/CD Knowledge: Knowledge of CI/CD processes is a definite advantage.
• Practical Requirements: Own equipment and Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII).
