The Mobile Frontier: A Unique Opportunity

We’re not just adding a mobile app; we’re creating the *first* native experience for Interviews Chat users on the go. As our dedicated React Native Developer, you won’t be inheriting legacy code. You’ll be the architect and primary builder of our initial iOS and Android applications, taking full ownership of the mobile codebase. Working directly with the founder and our dynamic, remote team, you’ll translate our powerful AI features into a seamless, intuitive mobile interface.

What You’ll Be Building

Your primary focus will be the end-to-end development and maintenance of the Interviews Chat mobile applications using React Native. You’ll be responsible for bringing the core magic – our Interview Copilot and Interview Prep modules – to life on mobile. This involves crafting a smooth, truly *native-feeling* UI, ensuring seamless integration with our backend APIs, and relentlessly optimizing performance across both iOS and Android devices. You’ll tackle mobile-specific complexities, including managing audio sessions, permissions, and ensuring reliable background activity crucial for real-time support during online meetings. Expect to be involved in testing, debugging, and quickly iterating based on user insights.

What You Bring to the Table

We’re seeking a skilled React Native Developer with a proven track record. Ideally, you have:

• 3+ years of professional experience dedicated to building robust mobile applications with React Native.
• A strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and deep expertise in React concepts applied to mobile development.
• Practical experience in optimizing mobile performance for both iOS and Android.
• Familiarity with common mobile platform challenges, such as handling push notifications, accessing device audio and permissions, and navigating the intricacies of App Store / Play Store submission.
• Experience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs.
• The ability to thrive working independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, remote team environment.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with technologies related to speech-to-text, OpenAI, or managing real-time data.
• Previous work on productivity tools, video/audio communication platforms, or AI-driven products.
