Shape the Future of Healthcare Finance Through Data

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for unlocking insights hidden within healthcare data? Do you thrive on using analytics to drive tangible improvements and enhance financial health? We are seeking a motivated and experienced Revenue Cycle Performance Analytics Manager to join our team and play a critical role in optimizing our revenue cycle operations.

Your Impact: Driving Performance Through Insight

In this pivotal role, you will be the go-to expert for healthcare data analytics within our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) functions. You will leverage your analytical prowess to perform deep dives into RCM data, identifying key trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities that directly impact our financial sustainability and the overall patient financial experience. This position is essential for fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across leadership.

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

  • Lead in-depth analysis of Revenue Cycle data and trends to pinpoint areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance key performance metrics (KPIs), reports, and interactive dashboards that provide clear visibility into RCM performance across the organization.
  • Conduct comprehensive analytical reviews of critical RCM processes, including financial clearance, billing, coding, collections, and specifically denial management.
  • Synthesize complex data into clear, concise summaries and compelling presentations for senior Revenue Cycle leadership.
  • Proactively identify areas for operational efficiency and collaborate on recommending strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing cash flow and reducing costly denials.
  • Drive the planning and implementation of recommended process optimizations.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Billing, Coding, Compliance, etc.) to ensure data accuracy, operational alignment, and seamless Revenue Cycle workflows.
  • Provide guidance and training to RCM staff on effective data utilization and best practices.

What You Bring: Skills & Experience

We’re looking for an analytical powerhouse with a solid foundation in healthcare finance and data. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel, including mastery of advanced formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functions.
  • A strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management data elements, functions, and workflows.
  • In-depth experience working with Denial Data, including familiarity with CARC/RARC category assignments.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret transaction, claims, and denial data to identify meaningful trends and root causes.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience or familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, or other data warehousing concepts/tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at collaborating with diverse teams and confidently presenting complex findings to both executive and clinical leadership.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data points to effectively escalate trends, issues, and strategic opportunities to leadership.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities while independently driving initiatives forward.
  • Experience with EMR systems (e.g., Athenahealth) is a plus.

The Foundation You Need: Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a closely related quantitative field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle, data analysis, or a related analytical role within a healthcare setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations and payer reimbursement models.

What We Offer: Benefits

We value our team members and offer a competitive benefits package, including:

  • Health Insurance
  • Dental Insurance
  • Life Insurance
  • Access to a 401k Plan
