The Opportunity: Sales Operations Specialist

Are you passionate about optimizing sales performance and driving revenue through data and process? We’re looking for a skilled Sales Operations Specialist to be a cornerstone of our revenue engine. In this critical role, you will enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of our sales team. You’ll ensure seamless execution of key sales processes, maintain impeccable CRM data accuracy, and deliver crucial insights that fuel strategic decision-decision making across the organization.

What You’ll Do

You will be instrumental in building and refining the operational foundation that enables our sales team’s success. Key responsibilities include:

  • Process Powerhouse: Design, implement, and refine scalable sales processes, workflows, and best practices across the entire sales funnel to maximize efficiency.
  • CRM Commander: Own the management and optimization of our CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring data integrity, pipeline accuracy, and leveraging automation for maximum impact.
  • Insight Generator: Develop and maintain comprehensive sales reports and dashboards, providing clear visibility into performance metrics, partnership KPIs, and customer lifecycle health (e.g., customer retention, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, churn analysis).
  • Revenue Architect: Design and implement data-driven processes and technology solutions that streamline workflows and accelerate sales velocity and overall revenue generation.
  • Forecasting Expert: Oversee sales forecasting models and deliver accurate, actionable insights to sales leadership for strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborative Partner: Support cross-functional projects aimed at improving revenue-generating activities and work closely with internal teams and subject matter experts to enhance sales productivity.
  • Enablement Champion: Communicate complex sales processes, policies, and analytical findings clearly across diverse audiences. Educate and onboard new sales team members on CRM best practices and processes.
  • Data Steward: Build and maintain essential data sets and support the preparation of reports using Salesforce and potentially Tableau to communicate operational insights and revenue health.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales support, sales enablement, or sales operations, preferably within a B2B, high-growth, or SaaS environment.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Analytics. Experience with Tableau is a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to gather and analyze revenue-related KPIs and create insightful reports for sales and finance leadership.
  • Solid understanding of post-closed-won processes, including concepts like billing, collections, and revenue recognition.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to approach challenges with a revenue-focused, long-term perspective.
