The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Scientific Data Analyst to play a crucial role in our clinical data management and analysis efforts. This position is central to developing and maintaining essential data infrastructure, primarily focusing on Tableau dashboard development and robust SQL programming. You will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of data for our clinical studies.
This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in Serbia, Romania, Hungary, Poland, or Slovakia. Enjoy the flexibility of working from your home base while contributing to cutting-edge advancements in precision medicine.
What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)
As a Scientific Data Analyst, you will:
Analyze and Interpret Data: Dive deep into complex scientific and clinical trial data, identifying trends, patterns, and key insights to support informed decision-making.
Manage Databases: Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL databases to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and management of clinical data.
Create Data Visualizations: Design and build compelling Tableau dashboards and other visualizations to clearly communicate findings and data status to clinical teams and stakeholders.
Collaborate Effectively: Partner closely with clinical operations teams and other stakeholders to understand data needs and provide data-driven support for ongoing studies.
Ensure Data Integrity: Uphold the highest standards of data integrity, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in clinical data management, including discrepancy management.
Provide Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical resource, applying your expertise in data analysis, visualization tools, and methodologies to various projects.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
Minimum Required:
A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience), ideally in a business, scientific, or healthcare discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar Scientific Data Analyst or Clinical Data Analyst role, specifically within a clinical research or healthcare setting.
Solid proficiency in Tableau for creating impactful data visualizations and reports.
Strong expertise in SQL for database management, querying, and programming.
Familiarity with clinical trial data, operations, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Good understanding of various clinical trial domains and core data management principles, including discrepancy management.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Exceptional attention to detail and a unwavering commitment to data accuracy and quality.
Other Required:
Established proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):
Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
Relevant certification(s) in data management or related analytical fields.
Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
