The Opportunity: Your Role as a Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master at Software Mind, you will be a key enabler for our Agile teams, guiding them towards continuous improvement and delivering exceptional value. You’ll be supporting two Kanban teams within the Scrum framework, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to succeed. You’ll act as a facilitator, coach, and problem-solver, driving performance in areas like quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Empowerment and Focus: Ensure teams focus on building the right capabilities and achieving daily and iteration goals, aligning with Program Increment (PI) Objectives.
• Team Motivation and Support: Motivate and support team members, providing necessary tools and knowledge while swiftly resolving roadblocks.
• Facilitation Expertise: Facilitate essential team meetings, including Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Iteration Reviews, and Iteration Retrospectives.
• Impediment Removal: Proactively address and eliminate impediments, enabling the team to focus on achieving Iteration objectives.
• Best Practices Advocate: Implement and champion Agile/Scrum best practices to enhance deliverable quality and adherence to the Definition of Done (DoD).
• High-Performing Team Building: Foster a high-performing team environment focused on continuous improvement in team dynamics and performance.
• Conflict Resolution: Help the team navigate interpersonal conflicts, challenges, and opportunities.
• Communication Excellence: Effectively communicate with management and external stakeholders.
• Performance Metrics Refinement: Continuously refine and improve team performance metrics in collaboration with the team.
• Escalation Management: Escalate critical issues requiring executive attention.
• Inter-Team Coordination: Facilitate seamless inter-team cooperation.
• Agile Event Preparation: Facilitate preparation for Agile events/ceremonies, including PI Planning and System Demos.
• Estimation Guidance: Guide the team in establishing normalized work estimates and effectively estimate features and capabilities.
• Agile Coaching: Coach teams in Agile/Scrum best practices.
• Azure DevOps Management: Utilize Azure DevOps to manage Agile team delivery and monitor progress against goals.

Qualifications: What You’ll Bring

• Exceptional English communication skills (written and oral, B2 level or higher).
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or similar role.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with the Scrum framework.
• Ability to motivate teams and foster a strong collaborative culture.
• Strong communication and effective problem-solving skills.
