Senior Accounting Analyst – Brazil (Remote/Hybrid)

Cyncly is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic finance team in Brazil. This is a Permanent Full Time (CLT) opportunity, offering flexibility with a 100% Remote setup, or a Hybrid option for those residing in the Serra Gaúcha region.

Compensation: Brazilian Real (BRL)

Your Impact: Role & Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accounting Analyst at Cyncly, you will be integral to maintaining the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting across multiple international entities. You will tackle complex accounting challenges, contribute to efficient financial processes, and provide crucial financial insights to management. Your expertise will directly support our continued growth and global operations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Lead and execute critical components of the month-end close process, including preparing sophisticated journal entries and performing thorough account reconciliations for various entities.
Develop, analyze, and implement complex revenue recognition plans for newly acquired businesses, ensuring strict compliance with IFRS 15 standards.
Conduct detailed month-over-month variance analysis, investigate material deviations, and articulate findings clearly and concisely to management.
Manage and maintain the integrity of our intercompany accounting structure and balances across multiple legal entities in a complex multi-currency, multi-country environment.
Actively participate in the year-end financial audit, preparing draft note disclosures, gathering required documentation, and responding effectively to auditor inquiries.
Prepare and post intricate journal entries, including those related to acquisitions, leases under IFRS 16, and intercompany loans.
Foster strong collaborative relationships with various stakeholder groups across the organization, such as Tax, Treasury, and FP&A.
Support diverse ad-hoc projects focused on improving financial processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and strengthening the integrity of financial information.

We are looking for a dedicated and highly competent professional with a solid foundation in accounting and a passion for accuracy in a global context. If you meet the following requirements, we encourage you to apply:
Essential Qualifications:
Hold an Active CRC Designation.
Possess solid and demonstrable experience in a similar accounting or finance role, ideally within an international setting.
Previous experience gained from working in a Public Accounting/Audit environment is highly beneficial.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is non-negotiable; you should be comfortable with complex functions and data manipulation.
In-depth knowledge and practical application experience with IFRS, with specific expertise in IFRS 15 (Revenue Recognition) and IFRS 16 (Leases).
Hands-on experience working with an ERP system is required.
Advanced English (C1+) with excellent written and verbal communication skills is crucial for effective collaboration with global teams.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement of processes and personal skills.
Exceptional thoroughness and meticulous attention to detail.
Proven ability to work with autonomy, demonstrate leadership potential, and apply strong analytical skills to complex financial data.
A collaborative team player who is disciplined and effective in a remote work environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience working specifically within the Tech industry.
Familiarity with or experience using the NetSuite ERP system.
