Your Impact: Key Responsibilities

As a Senior AWS Cloud Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of our cloud initiatives, driving innovation and ensuring the success of our cloud-based solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cloud Architecture & Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable, resilient applications using the power of AWS services like EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Craft and implement robust IaC solutions using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, automating infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Performance Optimization: Fine-tune workloads for optimal cost, scalability, performance, and security, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Microservices Architect: Architect, build, and maintain microservices-based architectures to enable agility and scalability.
• API Integration: Design and develop APIs and integration layers to seamlessly connect enterprise systems and unlock valuable data.
• CI/CD Mastery: Implement and manage robust CI/CD pipelines, automating build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Security Champion: Uphold the highest security standards by ensuring compliance with cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and data protection regulations.
• Security Collaboration: Partner with security teams to proactively embed governance, monitoring, and incident response strategies into our cloud solutions.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of cloud solutions.
• Technical Contributor: Actively participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions, contributing your expertise to shape our cloud strategy.

What You Bring to the Table: Required Qualifications

We’re looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual with the following qualifications:

• Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Cloud Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud development, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS.
• Programming Prowess: Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
• Containerization Expertise: Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS.
• CI/CD Mastery: Deep understanding and experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.).
• Cloud Fundamentals: Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and monitoring (CloudWatch, X-Ray, ELK/Prometheus/Grafana).
• IaC Proficiency: Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Problem-Solving Acumen: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in agile development environments.
