About the Role

We’re seeking a talented and passionate Cloud Migration DevOps Engineer to lead and execute the migration of our on-premises infrastructure to Azure. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in shaping the future of our cloud environment, ensuring its performance, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Azure Migration: Architect and execute a seamless migration from on-premises to Azure, proactively identifying and mitigating potential challenges.
• Infrastructure Management & Optimization: Configure, deploy, and manage Azure environments, ensuring they meet or exceed current performance and availability standards.
• Automation Champion: Design, implement, and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and other automation processes to streamline migration and ongoing environment management.
• Security Guardian: Implement and maintain robust security measures, adhering to best practices and ensuring compliance with all necessary standards.
• Proactive Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Establish comprehensive monitoring systems and proactive troubleshooting procedures to identify and resolve issues swiftly.
• Knowledge Sharing: Document the entire migration process, configurations, and best practices to create valuable resources for the team and future reference.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about DevOps and has a proven track record of successfully migrating complex infrastructure projects to the cloud.

• Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer with a successful history of cloud migrations.
• Deep expertise in cloud environments, especially Azure, and networking principles.
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal in English) for collaborating with global teams and documenting processes.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), IaC (e.g., Terraform, Puppet), and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, including network configuration, access controls, and encryption.
