The Opportunity: Senior HR Business Partner
As a Senior HR Business Partner, reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in providing both day-to-day HR support and strategic guidance to the organization. You will collaborate with the global People team to ensure our HR practices are best-in-class, fostering a culture of excellence and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HRBP for our Field Engineering Org globally, providing strategic HR support and guidance.
- Partner with the business to develop and implement innovative people strategies aligned with business goals.
- Proactively monitor employee engagement and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and development.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations, minimizing legal risks and ensuring compliance.
- Provide expert counsel and guidance on complex employee relations matters.
- Contribute to the transformation of the People team, driving improvements and best practices.
- Build strong relationships with people managers, coaching them on employee engagement, performance management, and career development.
- Support the implementation of company-wide people initiatives, such as performance reviews and engagement surveys.
- Champion a culture of excellence and ensure our employees feel valued and inspired.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced organization (ideally in tech), with 3+ years in a business partner/employee relations role.
- Experience with growth and departmental transformation in a Go-To-Market organization.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and hands-on approach.
- Strong coaching, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- In-depth knowledge of HR practices, initiatives, and local employment laws.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and seek assistance when needed.
- Effective analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience using data to influence decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative, flexible, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position based in the United States is $150,000โ$175,000 USD. Actual salary may vary based on Neo4jโs compensation practices, job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and trainings, and geographic location.
In addition to base salary, US employees are eligible for stock options, annual bonuses (for certain roles), and participation in our comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and leaves of absence.
