Join .txt as a Member of Technical Staff (Senior Engineer – DevOps Focus)

We’re looking for a talented and driven Senior Engineer to join our fully remote team and take ownership of our cloud infrastructure.

What You’ll Do: Building the Foundation for Reliable AI

• Design and Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Extend our OpenTofu infrastructure code to support AWS environments, including benchmarking, regression testing on bare metal and VMs, deploying monitoring and tracing stacks, and automating the creation/updates of our AWS Marketplace offering.
• Cloud Provider Research & Adaptation: Contribute to our expansion by researching infrastructure requirements for launching our structured generation products on Azure. Adapt our AWS offerings for a seamless Azure deployment.
• Maintain and Optimize Bare Metal Infrastructure: Take ownership of our bare metal runner cluster that executes GitHub Actions in a sandboxed environment. Enhance performance and ensure stability.

What We’re Looking For: Your Expertise

We’re seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented engineer with a passion for simplicity and security. You should be able to work independently on significant bodies of work and drive projects to completion.

• Proven DevOps Experience: Significant experience managing and scaling DevOps practices at an early-stage company or demonstrated capability to do so.
• Self-Directed: A proactive individual who continuously seeks opportunities to improve and automate systems.
• Strategic Decision-Making: Ability to prioritize DevOps work and automation effectively, making informed trade-offs based on business impact and security considerations.

Bonus points for experience with: OpenTofu, Python, and GitHub Actions.
