About Qualio: Powering Life Sciences Innovation

At Qualio, we stand at the forefront of transforming how groundbreaking life science companies bring essential, life-saving products to market. Our innovative quality management platform is the engine trusted by hundreds of pioneering organizations – from leaders in cutting-edge computational biology to those developing revolutionary mRNA vaccines. We are a fully remote-first company with a vibrant, distributed team spanning North America, Europe, and Australia.

The Opportunity: Senior People Business Partner, EPD

We are searching for a highly strategic and analytical Senior People Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. This is a pivotal role where you will serve as a trusted advisor to our critical Engineering, Product Management, and Design (EPD) teams. You will be instrumental in driving organizational effectiveness and growth by translating business objectives into data-informed people strategies, blending deep HR expertise with a human-centric approach.

How You’ll Make a Difference

In this role, your work will have tangible impact across our EPD organization and the wider company. You will:

  • Strategically influence leadership decisions by providing compelling, data-driven insights on workforce trends, performance, and organizational health.
  • Design, implement, and measure impactful employee experience and DEI programs that foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
  • Build robust, collaborative partnerships with leaders and team members at all levels, acting as a go-to advisor.
  • Establish and track key people analytics and metrics that demonstrate progress against cultural and business objectives.
  • Champion a human-centric culture while leveraging rigorous analysis to understand and improve performance and well-being.

What You’ll Be Doing (Your Core Responsibilities)

This is a highly active and influential role covering key strategic pillars:

  • Strategic People Program Leadership: Design, lead, and execute high-impact people programs informed by data and business needs. This includes overseeing cross-functional projects using structured methodologies.
  • Data-Driven People Strategy & Analytics: Utilize advanced people analytics to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, create dashboards (engagement, retention, DEI, org health), and provide data-backed recommendations for organizational design, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Enhancing Employee Experience & Culture: Proactively identify opportunities to improve the work environment, ensuring alignment with our core values. Develop and implement innovative DEI strategies with clear, measurable outcomes and tracking mechanisms.
  • Employee Relations Management: Provide expert guidance and resolution for complex employee relations matters.
  • Leadership Talent Acquisition Partnership: Play a key role in attracting top-tier leadership talent (Director level and above) for EPD teams. This involves partnering with hiring managers on job design, strategic sourcing, interviewing, and advising hiring committees, leveraging data to inform the process.
  • Leveraging Technology & AI: Explore and implement the use of AI tools and other HR technologies to enhance processes in areas like workforce insights, predictive modeling, talent development, task automation, and employee engagement analysis, always maintaining a focus on the human element.

What You Bring (Skills & Experience)

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 3+ years specifically as an HR Business Partner supporting Engineering, Product Management, or Design (EPD) teams, ideally in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging HR analytics and data visualization tools to provide actionable insights and inform decision-making. Ability to create compelling dashboards.
  • Proficiency in exploring and utilizing AI tools and platforms within HR, including applications for workforce insights, predictive modeling, talent development, task automation, and employee engagement analysis.
  • Deep expertise across core HR functions such as organizational design (data-driven), succession planning, talent mapping, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Proven track record in leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects with strong project management skills.
  • Experience specifically hiring for leadership roles (Director level and above).
  • Experience designing and implementing effective DEI strategies with measurable outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of US and/or Irish labor laws is required; knowledge of other international labor laws is a plus.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills with a consultative approach.
  • Experience in the life sciences or other regulated industries is a plus.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or GPHR Certification is a plus.

Your Approach & How You Thrive

The best candidates for this role will embody our values and demonstrate an approach that is:

  • Analytical & Intuitive: You solve complex challenges by seamlessly blending rigorous data analysis with practical experience and human intuition.
  • Ownership & Collaboration: You take full ownership of your work while actively fostering team collaboration and supporting the growth of others.
  • Connected & Empathetic: You build authentic relationships across all organizational levels, communicating with empathy, clarity, and influence.
  • Curious & Growth-Oriented: You approach challenges with genuine curiosity, constantly seeking to learn and improve.
  • Adaptable & Proactive: You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, quickly adapting to changing needs and proactively identifying opportunities.

The Perks: Supporting Our Team

We believe in supporting our Qualians comprehensively. Our benefits package includes:

  • 100% Remote Work Environment
  • Competitive Salary
  • Matching 401k
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits
  • Dependent & Health FSA, Short/Long Term Disability, Basic & Voluntary Life Insurance
  • Flexible Unlimited PTO Policy
  • Company Allowance for Home Office Supplies
  • Generous 12 Weeks Paid Parental Leave
  • The rewarding opportunity to directly contribute to bringing life-saving products to market!
