We’re not just looking for a Site Reliability Engineer; we’re seeking a proactive problem-solver with a passion for code quality,
automation, and empowering development teams. As a Senior SRE, you’ll take ownership of critical infrastructure, champion best practices, and
drive innovation across our organization.
Your Mission:
- Lead, mentor, and develop our SRE team, fostering a modern SRE culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Design, implement, and maintain our infrastructure-as-code stack and pipelines, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Optimize and enhance our incident response and disaster recovery processes, minimizing downtime and maximizing system resilience.
- Fine-tune, expand, and automate our observability stack, ensuring our SLOs and SLAs meet the highest standards.
- Rightsize, optimize, and maintain our infrastructure, with a focus on Kubernetes, databases, and message queues.
- Organize and lead cross-cloud migration efforts, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
What You Bring to the Table:
You’re a driven and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in Site Reliability Engineering. You possess a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise and accomplishments.
- Extensive experience as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, demonstrating a strong understanding of system architecture and reliability principles.
- Proven ability to diagnose and maintain databases and queues for optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Deep understanding and experience with Kubernetes cluster management and orchestration.
- Mastery of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices, with a strong aversion to manual processes (clickOps).
- Availability for a 4-hour overlap with CET/CEST time zones to facilitate collaboration with our globally distributed teams.
- Willingness to travel to Italy within three months of hiring, and ability to obtain a visa if necessary.
