Senior Software Developer – Shape the Future of Workplace Technology

Join our Workplace Product Engineering team as a Senior Software Developer and play a pivotal role in building and enhancing our workplace products. In this exciting role, you will collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, and product managers to deliver exceptional software solutions that truly meet our customers’ needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the Windows version of our flagship product.
• Design and develop high-quality software solutions that align with customer needs and business goals.
• Collaborate with UX designers to implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
• Participate in an Agile development team, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Work closely with our Infrastructure team to ensure seamless hosting and server configurations, maintaining the highest standards of security.
• Collaborate with our QA team to deliver world-class software.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices in software development.
• Embrace a mindset of ownership and self-motivation, driving projects to completion.
• Work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Mentor and guide junior developers on the team, fostering their growth and development.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of commercial experience in software development.
• Proven proficiency in C# and .Net.
• Strong .NET development background.
• Experience with version control tools, such as Git.
• Working knowledge of other development languages, especially JavaScript.
• Experience working within agile processes.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Points (Desirable Criteria)

• Degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Windows application development.
• WPF development experience.
• Experience creating User Interfaces.
• Familiarity with MS DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Pipelines, etc.).
• Windows Installer experience.
• Experience developing using database technologies (e.g., SQL, MySQL).
• Experience writing and executing unit tests.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Web design skills (CSS, HTML, HTML5, etc.).
• Web services development experience.
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries.
• Experience working within a quality system.
