About the Role: Building the Engine of Personalized Healthcare

As a Software Engineer at Omada, you’ll be a key player in building and scaling our innovative platform. You’ll have the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects that directly impact the lives of our members. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to design, develop, and deploy solutions that optimize our contracting, eligibility, and billing processes. You’ll leverage your expertise to improve existing systems, implement new features, and ensure our platform delivers the best possible experience for our members. What You’ll Do: Impacting Health at Scale

• Build and integrate both internally developed and third-party tools to streamline our contracting, eligibility, and billing workflows, directly influencing business outcomes.
• Serve as a mentor and informal leader within the team, identifying areas for improvement, guiding colleagues, and clarifying ambiguities.
• Explore and utilize AI and ML tools to develop cutting-edge solutions for complex problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the future direction of our technology and platform, drawing upon your experience and research.
• Lead large-scale projects, proactively addressing infrastructure and architectural needs.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, evaluate their potential, and advocate for their adoption.

What You’ll Bring: Your Skills and Experience

We’re looking for someone who is not only technically proficient but also passionate about making a difference in the world. Here’s what we’re looking for:

• 7+ years of experience in writing clean, well-tested, and efficient code.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI (GenAI) best practices, both for code development and application features.
• Proficiency with a modern front-end framework such as React or Vue.
• Experience with a modern back-end web framework like Rails or Python.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Experience working with APIs that support mobile applications, delivering rich user experiences.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and frameworks.
• A strong desire to learn new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies to continuously grow.
• A curious mindset with a focus on problem-solving rather than being right.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written.

Salary Ranges

Below is a summary of salary ranges for this role in the following geographies:

California, New York State and Washington State Base Compensation Ranges: $179,400 – $224,300*, Colorado Base Compensation Ranges: $171,600 – $214,500*. Other states may vary.

This role is also eligible for participation in annual cash bonus and equity grants.

*The actual offer, including the compensation package, is determined based on multiple factors, such as the candidate’s skills and experience, and other business considerations.
