The Opportunity: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and success of our products. You will be a key contributor, leading initiatives, mentoring peers, and ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and high-quality software from concept through deployment. What You’ll Do: Drive Technical Innovation & Build Excellence

Champion the design, development, and deployment of sophisticated software solutions, taking full ownership from initial concept through production release.

Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate complex requirements into elegant, efficient, and impactful features.

Architect and build high-scale, highly available production systems that are reliable and performant under pressure.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to and promoting best practices across the team.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality results that consistently meet or exceed project goals with significant autonomy.

What You’ll Do: Ensure System Robustness, Quality & Performance

Lead code reviews and champion engineering best practices to uphold high standards of code quality and maintainability.

Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical challenges, bottlenecks, and bugs efficiently.

Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Implement and maintain robust security and data protection measures to safeguard our systems and user information.

Stay abreast of emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

What You’ll Do: Foster Collaboration & Elevate the Team

Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Design, to refine requirements and deliver impactful software solutions.

Actively participate in and contribute to our agile development rituals, fostering a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.

Provide technical mentorship and guidance to fellow engineers, contributing to their growth and the overall strength of the team.

Contribute to building our engineering organization by participating in the interview process.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Required Skills & Experience

You’ll need a solid foundation and proven experience, including:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

5-10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a significant focus on building and shipping production systems.

Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining high-scale, highly available systems.

Hands-on experience working with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Demonstrated experience leading technical projects from inception to delivery.

A strong track record of consistently delivering high-quality software solutions in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
